The Electronic Sports League will host the European DoD Championship Cup. For those who dont have any clue, its a Nations Cup. The last European Championship took place two years ago and wasn quite a success.
We hope to change it this time and will play with some fresh rules:
only Country's from the Europe
Double-elimination or Groupstage and Single-elimination
at least 7 Players with an Steam-ID
1 AdminMap / 2x20 Min
Aequitas is not mandatory
POV-Demo is required
no Spawnrules
The Cup will start at 05.10. The Final will be played at 09.11. Looks interesting for you? So arrange a Team and participate.

Looking out of your window, you will see the sun shine bright. So summer is near and so is our annual Summer Cup for Day of Defeat. The signups have just opened and we are waiting for all of you to spend a great time in the tournament!
The exact structure of the tournament will depend on the amount of registrations. If enough teams sign up, there will be a group stage and playoffs otherwise it will be double elimination cup.

Playmode:1 admin map; 2x20 minutes
Signup: open till 18.05.08
Schedule: one round lasts from Monday to Sunday, starting on the 01.06.2008
Requirements
You have to upload a logo (100x100 Pixel)
At least one contact possibility (ICQ oder IRC) has to be entered on the teamsheet
At least 6 team members need to enter their Gameaccount (SteamID)

Enemy Down Day of Defeat 1.3 Spring Cup 2008
Welcome to the Day of Defeat 2008 Spring Cup.
The Cup layout is a knockout competition with 16 teams.
Event Rules:
1 - All normal ED rules apply, unless otherwise stated in this section.
2 - Matches are to be played on the home clan\'s server. The away team may play the second map on their server if they are not satisfied with the home clan’s server.
3 - All players must record in-eye demos for this event.
4 - Match day is Thursday.
Clans are entitled to reschedule Cup matches, all matches must be played by 11pm the following Sunday of the original scheduled date. Requests should be sent to Bert, Raven, Tykari or Ripper.
5 - In the event of a no show a default will be awarded with the result being 1-0.
6 - All matches will be played over 4 x 15 min rounds (2 maps, 2 rounds on each map).
7 - A representative from each clan should be in #enemydown.dod on quakenet at least half an hour before any matches to ease communication.

This cup runs over 4 rounds, takes place on Thursday and contains a total of 16 clans. Clans must enter the Day of Defeat - UK / European ladder before being eligible to play in this cup event.
